Dazzle Your Office for Christmas

The leaves are rapidly falling on the ground and swirling in the air. Fall holidays like Halloween and Thanksgiving have come and gone. Now, the most wonderful time of the year has arrived (cue the music)!

Holiday decorating has to be one of my favorite things to do. Although I am hardly wealthy, I definitely splurge on new odds and ends every year to decorate my Christmas tree and areas around the house. This year, I thought it’d be fun to decorate my office at work.

Over the weekend, I stopped at Big Lots to find a rose gold ribbon for my Christmas Tree. While there, I stumbled upon a maroon/burgundy wonderland and knew that this was the perfect setup for my office!

The tree was the centerpiece of it all. This faux feathered beauty was less than $15 and right up my alley. I couldn’t pass up the beautiful petals. They look real ladies and gents! They mingle perfectly with the two candle columns that were on display as well. Big Lots also had the LED lit candles so I grabbed a few. The sprig was found at none other than the Dollar Tree.

The gold reindeer that sits upon my desk was found at TJ Maxx. I filled the inside with colorful, yummy candy canes that clients can partake of when they are meeting with me.

My office door is still a work in progress (I think). I first intended to use a white and gold wrapping paper for the whole door. However, the pattern I chose wasn’t as flattering to me. So, I opted with simply putting a maroon bow trimmed in gold on the door.

The wonderful thing about this set up is that it took me less than 10 minutes to put together. It adds a bit of ‘FESTIVE GLAM’ to my personal office and it reminds me to loosen up and have a little fun.
