On April 19, 2019 Chef Phillip Ashley expanded his chocolate boutique by moving it to 1200 Madison Ave. I find it to be a perfect spot because it’s close to both midtown and downtown Memphis and accessible in so many ways. Chef Phillip Ashley has been bringing exclusive chocolate experiences to Memphis (and the world) since his grand opening in 2013.
Phillip Ashley is renowned for his craft as a chocolatier. Who else could think up such imaginative ways to bring all sorts of scrumptious layers into one morsel of chocolate? The combinations are purely genius and I for one can appreciate the research and labor that goes into these artistic bites of heaven.
What I appreciate is his attention to detail, commitment to his brand, and overall his love for catering to the needs of others with his products. Ashley fuses art influences, colors, and sometimes even fine spirits into his creations. Not only that, he specializes in hosting one-of-a-kind events to bring class, elegance, and refinement into his world.
With the bigger facility, Chef Phillip Ashley is sure to bring customers old and new some delightful treats to stimulate their palette. Currently, customers can try out his signature chocolates, pralines, cinnamon rolls, bacon (yes, bacon!) and popcorn. The shop opens early so pop in before work and grab a cup of coffee with a sweet treat. If you have more time, meet up with a friend at the ‘chocolate cafe’ for a bite.
